Set up FPL and city utilities before the truck arrives. Book a tax-collector appointment for plates and a Florida license. Call a primary-care office the week you close — wait lists are real. Walk Flagler Beach at sunrise once, even if the boxes aren’t done. That’s the point of the zip code.
Drive the lettered map on a Saturday. Don’t buy furniture until you’ve sat in European Village on a Sunday and decided whether you want to be 10 minutes from that courtyard or 25.
